Collection Procedures
Once an account is received, an acknowledgement is mailed to the client and a validated first demand notice to the debtor is produced and mailed. All accounts placed will be automatically listed with Trans Union Credit Bureau, Thirty (30) days after placement. Our system allows us to establish and prioritize the fashion in which the accounts are presented to a collector. A daily work file is created and presents accounts based on priorities (example: broken promises, new business, skips, etc. ). Each account must have a new activity and next date or follow up before the next account appears on screen. If a debtor has no phone number, an activity code requesting a collection letter can be used to generate a variety of collection letters. The process can also request itemized statements, suit requests, and reports from attorneys, etc. We provide an in-house auto pay service to the debtors to generate immediate collection.
We also provide a CD-ROM skip trace directory along with Haines criss cross directories for skip tracing purposes. Our collection staffs have all receivedAmerican Collector Association training on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, (FDCPA), telephone collection techniques, and all supervisors are certified collectors.
A production analysis report can be furnished recapping listings, collections,
fees, and returned accounts in an industry format upon client request. All cancellations
can be generated on a monthly basis upon clients request. All remittances and
or statements will be mailed by the Twenty-eighth, (28th) of each month and
will be of net dollars collected on the previous months collections.
